Our company had our yearly party here for the first time. This place was absolutely awesome. Drinks were tall, pizza was solid, but the game of whirly ball is entirely too fun. Laser tag was also a great and spacious arena. I would recommend anyone to give this place a shot, I plan on going all the time.

We came in on a slow Friday evening to check things out. We were a group of three, so we limited ourselves to laser tag. It was a lot of fun, but bring a towel. It gets hot in that room and fast walking from one end to the other doesn't help at all. The beers on tap were a wide range. It was good to see some locals as well. The bartender was helpful in telling us how things work and where to go. We checked out Whirly ball as well. It looks fun and next time we'll come in with a larger group. But that's what this place seems to be, a group hang out. If I was alone, looking for a bar to hang out at, there are better places in town. As far as food goes, I ordered nachos and now it's time for the nacho review! Looking at the menu, I had my doubts as the description mentioned cheese sauce. I'm a firm believer that real cheese needs to be melted on the chips. Time to break this down. Big plate of chips: Yes, they even held up in the cheese sauce. No soggy ones there. Real cheese on them: Sort of. there was real cheese sparsely sprinkled on the cheese sauce. Fresh toppings: No, there was a lack of toppings really. Fresh Salsa: nope, tasted as if from a jar. Sour cream on the side: Yep, had it. Meat of choice: Yes, I had the chicken and the chicken was the best part of the nachos, even if they were only seasoned in a taco seasoning from the store. At least it had flavor. Now I feel the need to go into this cheese sauce a bit more. There was no flavor coming from it. I mean none at all. Kind of like tofu. But it wasn't only that, it was how much of tasteless sauce was glopped onto the chips. I can honestly say I did not finish half of the chips on the plate (my bros however did polish them off). Ways to improve this would be to spice it up and get some fresh ingredients on it. Give it some flavor! Overall rating on these nachos: Pass on them!

First you need to know that the game is awesome. So much fun...But the staff is just horrible. They act like they are the only ones that matter. We tried to play laser tag while we waited for a court to open up and we waited for 25min. A guy walked over and we asked him if he was there to check us out. His response was "Nope, I'm off the clock, find someone else" I wish there were other locations in Minneapolis for this game, because the service here is horrible.

Let me start off by saying that this place is overall good. Whirlyball is a lot of fun, and the time flies while you are playing. If you play with 10 people and rent a court than the price to pay per person is reasonable. The laser tag is huge and also a lot of fun with a minimal fee. The food is excellent, way better than I expected! You can get a meal for $6 and the food tastes great, hard to beat that deal. BUT I have several issues with this place. First of all, there is no one to greet you upon entering. There needs to be a hostess type person that welcomes you in, and explains how things work, because it can be confusing if it is your first time coming, Secondly, there needs to be waiters/waitresses. I think it is unacceptable that patrons are required to order food from the bar, especially if you are in a large group. First time I visited, a friend and I sat at a table for 15 mins waiting for someone to give us menus, then finally I went to the bar to grab some. We proceeded to wait for a waiter but no one ended up coming, so we ordered at the bar. It would improve their customer service by 1000% if they paid someone minimum wage to waitress. The big problem I have with this place is the bathrooms. Before the venue was whirlyball it was a discount movie theater, and obviously the bathrooms got NO renovation. The women's bathroom has 5 stalls and get this, THREE of them are "out of order." That is completely unacceptable. The floor also looks like it has never been cleaned, and is badly stained and filthy. These are by far the trashiest bathrooms I have EVER seen. Go to the bathroom before you come to whirlyball! Overall I had a lot of fun here and the price for the entertainment/food is very reasonable. I think with a few upgrades this place has potential to be one of the more popular attractions in the twin cities.

Tons of fun, but when the bartender from Texas decided that a $2 tip per drink was not enough, and felt the need to tell me so. Well that when I could not believe the HUGE amount of money we paid to me there, yet t I had to get attitude from the bartender of all people.. Ya,the place has a fun game, but when you mix in rude southern bartenders, its not so fun.

I headed out here for a birthday party, expecting to be the no-fun wall-flower that crossed her arms and refused to play. Lacrosse, Basketball, Bumper Car Hybrid? Not a series of things I'd ever expect muddled together. I was pleasantly surprised at how fun it was! It took me a little bit to warm up to it, but after the first round I was having a blast. The birthday party had reserved a court (highly recommended, as I am unsure of how they do walk-ins), and we had a good number of people at the birthday party so there was always a game going. A far as price goes, I'm unsure of how much it cost for the entire rental, but the birthday party asked us to each pay $20, and there had to be around 20 people there. There were several of the bumper cars that had to be 'fixed' in between games, which took some time but ultimately, was not the end of the world, because we had a few hours to drink and play. We got there around 11:30pm, and I needed to eat. We didn't know if we had to order from the bar or from the party room, and we only knew where the party room was because a member of the birthday party texted and told us- Ultimately, a hostess of some sort would really help the over-all experience here. Waitresses, also, would really help, because the food was fantastic (Cajun Wings with Garlic Aioli and Kumara Fries) - but they were only serving "Fried" Options, which were not clearly marked on the menu among the appetizers. This wouldn't have been a big deal, had we not been struggling to get an overly busy bartenders attention at a PACKED bar. In this scenario, a waitress would have made a 3 star experience a 5 star experience. We knew there was lazer tag, so we walked to go and check it out. It's $5.00 + tax to play, and they have a huge 2 level arena. We didn't end up playing, but it did look fun. Maybe another time. Overall, it was a great experience. Adults and kids alike will have a blast here, but you need to know about the service pitfalls before you expect a 5 star experience. Hopefully in the future we will be going back, because with a group of over 15 people, it was a fun time.

Women's bathroom is nasty, not clean and also had out or order signs on some. Service isn't great n the drinks are weak, a friend even had a "skunky" beer. Whirley ball is fun but had to stop our game for 10 minutes to fix a car that already had 2 cars broken down in the corner. Fun for adults but won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Whirly Ball is awesome! I had a group 18 people and we had the time of lives. We played for two hours and although my team lost, it was still a lot of fun. The staff is super friendly and it showed that they wanted to make sure we had fun. I totally will do it again soon!

Been here before. It is fun. Disappointed that when I ordered a bloody mary, I got ZERO garnish on it. When I asked if they have olives and celery. I was told by the bar tender that they don't have any bells and whistles. .. This surprised me. What disappointed mw more is when another person arrived to join our party an hour later. The same bartender gave him olives in his drink... disappointed and.would have had another drink, but didn't as it seems the bartender was pulling an attitude. Can't believe they don't have basic garnishes. Will think twice before going there again...

Came for a company outing and left a huge fan. Great beer selection? Check! Fun atmosphere? Check! Game that everyone can play? Double check! Ample space for work outing however it can't wait to bring a group of friends and spend a night out there. Also - if your playing aggressive work the referee over to get calls your way!
